Beginning with equity participation in Nose,
an established brand of ladies fashion footwear from Malaysia,
RSH launched its first Novo fashion footwear store as a pilot
project in Australia. Today, the Nose/Novo concept has evolved
into a chain of 39 stores in Singapore, Malaysia, Australia,
New Zealand and UAE with an annual turnover of S$13.8 million
in FY 2004.
In August 2004, RSH created the world’s premier
Indian fusion fashion and lifestyle store, Mumbai Se. Measuring
5,000 square feet, Mumbai Se at Palais Renaissance assembles
under one magnificent roof, for the very first time, the best
of Indian designer fashion, jewellery, furniture, sterling silver,
art, artifacts and paintings.
Global concepts created and owned by the Group,
including Novo and Mumbai Se, will be the foundation of RSH
for tomorrow. A bold move, global brand concepts will reinforce
RSH’s core competencies in supply chain management and allow
the Group to capitalize on its extensive infrastructure in the
Far East, the Middle East and the Pacific region. RSH-owned
global brand concepts will take our banner across borders and
into the world’s largest markets in time to come.
